Offered is a two volume set of Custer, The Seventh Calvary, and the Little Big Horn. This is the deluxe limited edition printing circa 2012. The books include a foreword by Robert M. Utley. They are signed by Utley and the editor, Michael O'Keefe. The deluxe edition was limited to 25 collector's copies and 15 presentation copies, though this set is unnumbered.
Michael O'Keefe produced this book set by drawing on research from roughly 3,000 books and 7,000 articles about George Armstrong Custer (1839-1876). The books detail events in Custer's life, including his experience in the American Civil War and his significant role in the Battle at Little Big Horn. O'Keefe's Custer is one of the most complete and detailed accounts of Custer currently available. O'Keefe himself has dedicated his life to the research, and currently serves as president of the Custer Battlefield Historical & Museum Association. The book includes a forward by Utley, who served in the National Park Service for 25 years and took on the role of Chief Historian from 1964 to 1972.

Very good condition. Free of significant wear besides light shelf wear to slipcase. Two volumes in publisher's burgundy leather and gilt binding with a matching slipcase. The signatures are bold and dark. Unnumbered.
