Vintage Bill Clinton and Al Gore "Presidential Inauguration" Pennant, 1997
Presented is a vintage pennant celebrating the 1997 inauguration of Bill Clinton and his running mate Al Gore. The printed felt pennant has a white field with a white felt headband and white ties.
Printed on the field is the Inaugural Seal, composed of Federal style eagle with shield and laurel. The eagle carries a waving banner with the text “E. Pluribus Unum.” The words "President Bill Clinton" and "Vice President Al Gore" encircle the Inaugural Seal. To the right, is the text "Presidential Inauguration, Washington D.C. January 20, 1997," printed in blue, red, and black. The field of the pennant has a flag motif, with white stars against a sky blue background at the top and waving red and white stripes at the bottom.
Clinton served as president from 1993 to 2001 and this pennant celebrates his second inauguration.
CONDITION:
Very good condition. White printed field, white sewn headband, white felt ties. Some very minor soiling and some mild creasing at tip. Sold unframed, as-is. Pennant Dimensions: 8 3/4" H x 26 3/4" W.
